INPUT UNIT
You will recall that an input units takes the input in the
form of data and instruction. This data is then converted into binary form (strings
of 0 and 1) so that it can be understood by the computer. The input unit
comprises of input devices attached to the computer. The most commonly used
devices is the keyboard. A number of other input devices have been developed
that do not require typing for entering data. These are known as pointing
devices as they allow the user to select something on the screen by pointing to
it.
